Illustrative example. Grade estimates depend on your scores and syllabus settings.
A few steps to get started
Make your own copy
Keep the original template blank. Your copy holds your coursework and grading settings.
Add your classes and work
Choose Coursework → Add class, then Add assignment. Enter deadlines, points, and status as you go.
Check what needs attention
Use the Overview for deadlines and grade estimates. Leave unknown scores blank; enter 0 only for a confirmed zero.
Why Google asks for permission
The Coursework tools create and update class tabs, assignment rows, and summaries in your open spreadsheet. They also display the Add class and Add assignment forms. A cleanup trigger updates totals and class lists after you delete assignment rows or class tabs, even while the forms are closed.
Google’s Sheets permission is broader than the tracker’s actual use: the current code targets the open template copy. It does not automatically send your coursework to the developer.
Read how your information is handledGrade estimates you can understand
Current grade % uses entered scores and assignment weights. Blank scores are skipped; a recorded 0 counts. Match weights and letter-grade cutoffs to your syllabus.
Letter grades and GPA are estimates. Check your course’s official gradebook for final results.
